For example, entering Napa returns data for Napa County, the town of Napa, and unincorporated parts of Napa. To avoid this, if you are searching for population for Napa County, enter Napa County. If you are searching for the town of Napa, enter Napa (city). If you are searching for unincorporated Napa, enter Unincorporated Napa.

The server returns na when no data are available. This usually occurs because a city was not incorporated at the time specified.

You may search simultaneously for more than one area by using "and." U.S. population data are available by entering "U.S."
