This page contains January 1st population data for the state, California counties, and California cities from 1970 to 1996. The source for all population and demographic data is the U.S. Census.Bureau and the Demographic Unit of the California Department of Finance.

The server returns na when no data are available. This usually occurs because a city was not incorporated at the time specified.
