Homeland Security State and Local Formula Grant Allocation Alternatives

The following tables examine state-by-state formula allocations employed to distribute federal funding through the Office of Domestic Preparedness at the Department of Homeland Security. The tables include alternative allocation schemes as well as a simulation of the DHS allocation scheme.

NOTE:  The budget proposes a change in the distribution formula, this table runs the funding level with no change in the formula.  Grant allocations are instead run using the 40/60 formula contained in the USA Patriot Act.
